Don’t think I am weird for posting a lot of portraits; I really love this form of art! :mrgreen: (Maybe I’m weird after all…)

Reynolds was a quite magnificent 18th century portraitist! The National Gallery in London has many of his portraits.

He is one of my favorite artists. I like English 18th century portrait painters.


These are not portraits but they remind me on my favorite book :wink: , both pictures were on the covers of the English version.

I have seen these paintings at the recent Fragonard exhibition at the Musée Jaquemart Andrée in Paris. Very beautiful, typically Fragonard, a bit saucy....
