Here the rare engravings of Marie-Antoinette, recovered from the book "Marie-Antoinette et sa famille" by Lescure, an old book:

It seems to be Mirabeau when he went to the Tuileries.

And then Louis-Charles in theTemple :

You're welcome

Louis-Charles had a beautiful writing for his age ! And contrary to his mother he strictly respected the accents and the punctuation :D

Especially it is heartrending when one sees the comparison of the handwriting here with the scrawl of the poor little prince when he signed the testimony against his maman, obviously under the infuence of drink. I saw it in a book last night but I do not have a scanner where I am now.

that's so sad, with the inclusion of 'capet' too. he must have been so confused and frightened.
