I don't know (may be :D ) , but they could think that I'am a big "acharné" and obsessed by Marie-Antoinette...in fact it's true but...
And imagine if a customer comes to my office...
With a picture of "le Hameau", nobody recognize it therfore it's ok :D

Oh... Are you so sure ? I could come desguised as a customer and exclaim : "Oh... Isn't it queen Marie-Antoinette's helmet, on your screen ? Are you another fan of the Austrian woman ?"

All jacobins, I tell you !

You know, one of my fellow teachers told my students that Marie-Antoinette was a silly lady, who said "let them eat cake" ! Fortunately, I am there, for teaching them more than Latin...

I imagine that you rectified the things well
Me also once a colleague saw me reading an article on Marie-Antoinette(during the pause of midday :D ), and the cave of the Trianon. He said to me that he thought that Marie-Antoinette went in this cave with her lovers... there too I rectified the things well!

Oh, yes, Louis-Charles ! She is so beautiful on this portrait too... Her delicate complexion, her large blue eyes, her slightly aquiline nose, her Habsburg lip... and this long royal neck...

This painting by Dumont is interesting too, even if it must be reverse, for Antoinette was not lefthanded. I like her portrayed by Dumont, for her long ovale is so obvious...

However, this Kusharsky one remains my favorite...

I love the second one! My favorite MA pic! It's an amazing painting. She looks so beautiful in it and so natural...so different from her other pics

That one by Kucharski is my all-time favorite too.

Oui, Pimprenelle, I have had the same experience.
I told a relation of mine that I was fascinated by the Queen, and she said, "Oh isn't that the one that said 'Let them eat cake'?" She also said that she had always thought she was mean, but I had to explain to her that she was merley a victim of circumstances, the 'wrong woman at the wrong time.'

That relation really is a jacobin!

I also enjoy the portaits painted in Russia, especially the Empress Elizaveta and the Princess Youssupov's ones.
