Post Knight of the Maison Rouge by Alexandre Dumas
I found this book at the library book sale and bought it. I was wondering if anyone had read it?

No, I have not read it, Dear Mondeskind! But it is on my "to read list"! It sounds lovely!

I had to put this book down. I just don't think my head is in the place to read Dumas' style at the moment!

What is his style? Is it... bad? :D I would like to know, because I don't want to waste my money on a Madame Erikson-type book.

No no no...it's just that 19th century style of lots of description and fluff to wade through.

Yes I read it, but quite a long time ago. Anyway, as far as I remember, I didn't really enjoy it, it's a bit tedious, strangely, compared to other novels of Dumas. Usually his novels are real page turners (even if they lack of credibility !), it seems he lacked inspiration in this one ...
The Queen's necklace is probably better, maybe someone has read it ?
