Hello, all! I'm wondering if you can provide me some information about those who would have been Marie Antoinette's guards at Versailles when she was dauphine. Was there a particular company that was responsible for her protection? Is there anything you might be able to tell me about the details of their service--for example, where they were to be posted, how closely they were to follow her, any etiquette in communication they were to adhere to in speaking with her, etc. Is there any record of their names? I'm also curious with the same questions regarding the dauphin's guards.
