She and Berry lived at the Elysee Palace, where they entertained lavishly.

Are there any narration of the assassination of the Duc de Berry? Is it known if Charles d'Artois and the Angouleme were present?

Yes, there are several narrations that I have come across. I know that it is all told in Imbert de Saint-Amand's book (biography) and very movingly described in "Madame Royale." (novel) Yes, the entire royal family was present, including Louis XVIII, Angouleme and Marie-Therese. Artois embraced his dying son with many tears. Berry asked to see his mistress Amy Brown and his children by her, so they were brought to the opera box. In Amy's presence he begged forgiveness for the public scandal he had given and recieved the last rites. He asked that his children be taken care of and he commended France and himself to the Holy Virgin. He died in Caroline's arms. Her dress was covered with his blood.

It seems so outrageous to Caroline that her husband asked to see his mistress in his last days!! I know that he had many mistresses, but I think that they love each other.
I read too that he had seven sons by his mistresses...

His situation with Amy was a very unique. She was English and a Protestant minister's daughter whom he truly loved and married in England. They had many children and when Berry returned to France he brought his family with him. But he was married without his king's permission and outside his church so the marriage was declared null and void. Yes, he could not help but love Caroline, too.

In this portait I can identify the Comte d'Artois, Caroline de Berry, Louis XVIII and Marie-Thérèse d'Angoulême...I think that The Duc d'Angoulême is also there...

Charles Ferdinand de Berry died where? In the Tuileries?

No, he died in his box at the opera house. After Louvel stabbed him, they carried him back in, leaving a trail of blood on the staircase. (All of this is described very accurately and vividly in Vidal's novel "Madame Royale.")

Perhaps Angouleme is standing behind behind Bishop Latil, Artois' confessor, who gave Berry the last rites. Therese is standing, with the yellow shawl. Caroline is on her knees with her hair trailing down. Artois is kneeling on the other side of the sofa and there is also Louis XVIII.

And I guess that Angoulême is also kneeling, between Caroline and his wife..
