I know that Mare Therese won't blame her mother. She know sthat her mother loves to help the poor even though she was spoiled by her father (Louis XVI).

I know that Marie Theres had a husband, but no children! It would be really great if we now have a descendant of Marie ANtoinette

You don't believe it Christophe, but many things point to it being quite likely...

I thought that the reason Marie-Terese married her cousin Angouleme was because that was who her parents had chosen for her? Or her Mother had said somewhere along the line that that's who she would like Marie-Therese to marry? Hmmm...............................................anyone know.

I do not believe the Dark Countess stuff either. Sounds to me like someone wove a story. (Sorry)

Yes, that's true. Marie-Therese was told that her parents wanted her to marry him.

The Dark Countess was a real person, but she wasn't Marie Therese. Nobody really knows who she was.

I just read on another forum that the Queen and King called her Charlotte instead of Therese, is that true? I had not heard that before, I always assumed she was called Therese, or Marie-Therese.

I know that the revolutionary officials designated her "Charlotte Capet," but I have never read that her parents called her "Charlotte." I suppose it is not outside the realm of possibility. In the family she was called "Mousseline la serieuse."
