no, a better word to describe it would be to say that he was simply, young he and MA didnt really know much about sex, or life very much in general, so both of them its very awkward....

search around, youll find all your questions answered here.

Welcome, baron !

There is no source that may suggest that Louis XVI was gay. He obviously was not interested in sex, but remained faithful to his wife, from all the memorialists and historians... or, may any doubt occur, he was perhaps once interested in another woman... They mention this Contat actress, or they say he could have been initiated by a servant, Madame Lambriquet. Someone even imagines he was in love with Madame de Polignac !

Anyhow, no males names are mentioned...

Why ? There would be no problem with Louis XVI being gay...

However, obviously, he was not. I don't understand why so many people ask about it after having watched this movie. Did Sofia Coppola suggest that Louis could have been gay ?

I think there's a difference to being homosexual, and not being interested in sex at all. If Louis XVI was homosexual he could have been extremely interested in it. I think they just needed to mature, that's all.

Yes, some people don’t make that difference at all. Some people (men) I know would say “He was a king, he was able to have as many gorgeous mistress as he wanted, WHY?????????????”
I’ve never thought about the possibility that he was gay but I think there isn’t any indication that he actually was.
