Post MARIE ANTOINETTE Movies seen on YOUTUBE
A wonderful lady named Rona has posted ROSE OF VERSAILLES animation movie and also the full 1978 motion picture LADY OSCAR at this site. I had never seen the movie - so I was most appreciative - if you've not seen it you too may want to visit.

Also since then, Rona has posted the THE FRENCH REVOLUTION from the History Channel, and a futher movie THE STORY OF MARIE ANTOINETTE.

I had not seen THE STORY OF MARIE ANTOINETTE but have now viewed 9 of 10 episodes I find it terrific and recommend to all. The movie uses real images much like a Ken Burns documentary with some silent re-enacting. The talking heads are first rate with Simon Schama, Lady Fraser and Chantel Thomas plus the narration in English and Evelyn Lever and Antoine Baeque in French plus others I dont recall off-hand.

You can find these movies easily by going to Rona's place at YOUTUBE.
I have posted some comments there - perhaps others here will also offer comments to her.

Enjoy - and thank you Rona!!

Interestingly, I found those a couple of weeks ago. "CrazyMinx" seems to be a huge Marie Antoinette fan. She should join this community.
I downloaded them but haven't got round to putting them on dvd yet.
I want to watch Marie Antoinette on a wide screen television, not on a computer monitor...let's do the Queen justice!!!

I've got round to watching the stuff put up on YouTube by CrazyMinx. I liked "Marie Antoinette, Queen of Versailles". The other documentaries were simplified to the point of nearing inexactitude.
I'm still grateful to CrazyMinx for sharing them...more users should share their history related materials
