Has anyone a review for these works?

I would love to give a review ofr Marie Antoinette: Queen of Versailles, but unfortunately, I couldn't get throught the first five minutes! It satarts off with her birth and then for some reason goes into the details of the building of Versailles. I much prefer the Grubin one.

Post Of the 3 MA documentaries, SCAPEGOAT QUEEN still a mystery
Marie Antoinette: Queen of Versailles is also at my YOUTUBE site.

Grubin is my favorite documentary so far - it centers around the hatred of MA and seems to be the first one to really focus on the pamphleteer campaign against her.

But how about MA: SCAPEGOAT QUEEN - has anyone bought that one and seen it to offer a review??

I dont think it was shown on TV just straight to DVD or so it seems - anyreviews on it??

I bought the MA: Scapegoat Queen DVD.

It's a no budget production with no interviews. They just edited painting images together with cheap shots of Austrian and French palaces.

BUT the story is well told.

hmm sounds interesting. I knew that with the title "Scapegoat Queen" The people involved had to have a good idea about the subject matter!

Thanks much for the review York. You say the story is well told. Could you add a bit more. What period did the story cover? and emphasize? Did it focus on the pamphlet campaign against MA like Grubin did? or was the emphasis elsewhere? Did it have voices like a Ken Burns documentary?

Regards,
Axel
