Here is a rough translation from an online translator..so it might not all be accurate....

Sad finishes, pale torches, Day, more dreadful than darkness, lugubrious Stars of the tombs, Not, I will see nothing any more but your funeral clearnesses. You, which see my c?ur éperdu, Père of the day, ô sun, ô my father! I do not want more than one good, that Castor lost, And I give up your light. Sad finishes, pale torches, Day, more dreadful than darkness, lugubrious Stars of the tombs, Not, I will see nothing any more but your funeral clearnesses.

I did a translation of my own; much more accurate and professional:

Tristes apprêts, pâles flambeaux,
Sad endings, pale troches,
Jour, plus affreux que les ténèbres,
Day, more dreadful than darkness,
Astres lugubres des tombeaux,
Gloomy stars of the tomb,
Non, je ne verrai plus que vos clartés funèbres.
No, I no longer see your awful brilliance.

Toi, qui vois mon cœur éperdu,
You, who see my distraught heart,
Père du jour, ô soleil, ô mon père!
Father of light, O sun, O my father!
Je ne veux plus d'un bien, que Castor a perdu,
I desire only one good, which Castor has lost,
Et je renonce à ta lumière.
And I give up your light.

Tristes apprêts, pâles flambeaux,
Jour, plus affreux que les ténèbres,
Astres lugubres des tombeaux,
Non, je ne verrai plus que vos clartés funèbres.

It is indeed very sad. It would be good to listen and understand the entire opera, and to see what exactly Castor lost.
