I know one or two of the people well who do these costumed days at Vaux. Some of the ladies design and sew their own dresses. If any of you are interested in doing that one day, I can put you in touch. However they take their costumes pretty seriously. There are at least two days at Vaux per year open to the general public for dressing up in period dress and with various theme entertainments. Everyone has a great time pretending to be a Vicomte or princess for a day.

Travelling to Vaux is one of my dreams! I saw some pictures about thier reunions on the French MA forum, simular to the pictures above...

I hope you'll enjoy these pictures, too. I always suspected that French people know how to faire le fĂȘte :)

I will be at Vaux on the 222nd July...dragging a poor unsuspecting German client round!

Pure self indulgence during worktime! Guess who suggested it?! :)
