Well, Don't rush into deciding, dear! Take your time deciding what you shall include... The wikipedia article on Versailles has many images of the rooms and lots of information, I recommend looking.

I think you should compile a picture book, or list of all your favorite rooms, then select your favorite parts to use as you wish. Like the blue and white woodwork of the trianon, you don't have to copy the whole room. But you should have the hidden doors in your bedroom and a Merridian. leading to a library..ect. also a long gallery with a black and cream foor like a chessboard with about 6 sets of french doors going outside. I think you would be happy to copy a few of the rooms. you might be glad later that you went ahead and did that as you were spending the money anyway. Pompador had the best livingroom I think. & don't forget that beautiful sky painted ceiling in the Versailles entrance. That blue is amazing! PS glad that address worked for you!

Thank you Elle. I may just go ahead and opush for Saint-Cloud. I've heard talk about rebuilding it in France, but I can honestly say, I pay more attention to detail than anyone ever could. I love all the petit apartments surrounding the Cour de la Reine. I could integrate these around the upper floor court yard. The Galerie d'Apollon is 45 meters long, and 13 windows make it up. There is just something about it that I love. I can't put my finger on it!
