So, here I go again friends! I thought I should bring this topic up because, you all will give me straight forward answers.
I have played around with building Chateau Saint-Cloud, and another Petit trianon. But, alas, I cannot do it. Only because I fear I'd be taking away from MA, in a matieral and emotional way.

So, I'm designing my own Chateau! Crazy comte ;]

I'm interested in hearing what sort of rooms I should have, galleries, stiarcases, and even portraits! Every bit helps! :]

I'm afraid I don't really know what you're looking for, dear Comte.

Well, I'm compiling my favorite portraits of Ma, and the rest of the families.
Im creating a gallerie reminiscent of the Galerie d'apollon at Saint-Cloud.
I was just wondering what sort of things I should have...
Chapel, Gaurd rooms, state rooms, etc....

I think you should include the chapel and her bedroom. It sounds interesting what you are planning to do.

You should include the "Salon de Diane", the billiards room.

You're both right! :]
However, the Salon de diane features exspensive marble, whichi was reserving for an ambassadors staircase.
Her bedroom, which one?

So, Comte, what exactly are you doing? Are you just designing a Chateau for fun? (Forgive me, I'm a little slow on the uptake... )

How big will this chateau be?

Anyway, Since the Salon de Diane has been ruled out...

How about the Queen's library?

are you including the Petit Trianon or just rooms from Versailles, if you are including the trianon then I think you should include her trianon bedroom.

I love Marie Antoinette's bedroom at Petite Trianon, it's so charming and relatively simple... I Agree, Jadean, Comte de Provence should include it.

Well, I have been trying to make everything original.
Using anything from the petit trianon, would make me sad.
I'd be stealing from MA in my mind.

I understand how you feel. I just absolutely love the trianon and would love to have a replica of her bedroom. May be you could do a replica of her state bedroom.

I don't think you'd be stealing from Marie Antoinette by adding rooms from the little Trianon... I think she'd be flattered that you like her style.
