Post Views and Plans of Petit Trianon & Hameau
Does anyone know where I can view the interior of the Little Hameau? And if there are detailed Views and Plans of The Petit Trianon online like the ones from the book? I'm afraid the actual book is quite expensive and I haven't the means to purchase it right now.

There is actually another thread that talks about this subject, well at least the plans of Trianon (and whole of Versailles).

"Plans of the Chateau de Versailles" is the name of the thread: http://www.marie-antoinette.org/forum/v ... highlight=

You might find it interesting.

I know. I've done extensive research there as well. I still feel that the book will have the details that I'm looking for but it seems my paycheck can't satisfy the immense infatuation I have for this subject at the moment. Nevertheless, thank you.

I have seen a lot of floor plans on the Versailles.forum message board, the board is in French, I have seen scans of floor plans from books on there and as well some some photos taken inside of the Hamlet. You will have to search the site, I am sorry that I don't have time right now to look for you...I will when I can.

I have never seen a floor plan for any buildings of the Hamlet.

Is the book very expensive? Aren't there many other books with plans and views of Trianon? I know I have seen several here in Sweden in second-hand bookshops and they are not at all expensive.

Merci!

That's about all I know French wise, lol, but I've managed to find some plans of L' Petit Trianon in the Gallery (for some reason it's missing the "Theatre de la Reine"?). I haven't found anything on the Hameau interior but I'm still looking. Thank you for your help.

Anything in-stock starts at $145.95 +shipping and the closest library that has it is 6+ hours away. This is why I looked to the internet for something of an alternative or an online book perhaps such as this for example.

I have that book by the way. It's wonderful.

Anyway, merci to you as well, Hans Axel.

I have seen such books for about $10-50 + shipping here in Sweden, but it's hard to know which of the books that are interesting. There are books by authers like Iain Pilkington, Pierre de Nolhac, Gerald van der Kemp, Edmond Pilon that I can find right now online for around that price.
