Wonderful! Then I must visit England soon!
You are very cute, you look like one beautiful Serbian actress with that new haircut! And you are always so cheerful and happy. :sun:

Oh, yes, England is beautiful! And it's one of the places in te world I love most, and where I would like to live one day :)
I'm glad you likd my hairdo  And yes, I often look cheerful, I guess it's a kind of defence I use to conceal my inner melancholy...That's maybe why I fell the English landscape with its towers, cathedrals and open fields suits me so well.

Here are some more photos from England! What I especially like there, is the close contact with nature you usually have. There are so many green spaces even inside towns...
This was the inner courtyard of a college:

And I absolutely love daffodils. I went to Britain at the beginning of April, so daffodils were in full bloom...and they were everywhere! I think Wordsworth got it amazingly right: when there's a lot of them in a field, they look like a dancing golden wave.

We are so alike then. I don’t look so cheerful in pictures but I have the same defense... I never show my true feelings in public but always act like the world is perfect, although I am quite melancholic. That has some disadvantages, people tend to think that I am more stronger than I really am so I deal with tough situations all alone...

England seems very beautiful. :rainbow:

I understand what you mean, and I really think we are very much alike. People don't usually think I'm stronger than I am, but I guess they think I'm a very relaxed and easy-going person...which I'm not :? And sometimes I'm sorry about this, because I'd like them to see my true nature; but, in the end, this is my way to face situations, so I have to accept it.

Yes, those place are beautiful! I'm planning my summer holidays now, and I was thinking about a tour of Germany :)

Dear Rosalie, which parts of England have you been to? I am asking this because four years ago I went for a month long concert tour to England. There are several places I really loved, for example the town of Shaftesbury (and whole Dorset), the city of Liverpool, Coventry, Chipping Campden (it's lovely!) and of course London. I ate a wonderful sweet cake in Birmingham, covered by chocolate cream... and I loved the beautiful grass there. I visited Wales as well, and I must say that is one of the most amazing landscapes I have ever seen.

So, the question is: have you been to these places? Just in case you haven't, you should see these places :)

Oh, what a nice trip it must have been! :rainbow: Unluckily, I haven't been in any of those places, apart of course from London. I went to London for a couple of weeks some years ago and I found it an amazing city...unique! Then Last years I spent nine months in Cambridge and I traveled a bit around: I saw part of Suffolk (a wonderful region, the countryside there is just amazing) some nice places in East Anglia like the small town of Ely, which has a great cathedral, and Oxford. In my last trip, some weeks ago, I actually started from Scotland (Glasgow), and then went down to Durham and Cambridge again.
I'd like to get to know Scotland a bit better, and Wales as well... hope I can get back to the Uk soon! :angel8:
I absolutely love cakes and sweets there...especially muffin! Especially triple chocolate muffins...I'm missing them :D

Places you saw can be also amazing, Rosalie! And you're lucky to be there :blob7: English sweets, I think, are very fine, but I don't like British lunches so. I got acclimatized by hungarian grand and ornate dishes and I felt a bit unconfortable with triangle sandwiches...

Same situation with me and my national dishes but I get used to triangle sandwiches just fine. 8)
