I love "Perfume"

I do write. I always have ideas, set them to paper and then finish them. I always get stuck half way through about where to take the story and characters. Umphh.

I would LOVE to write something about Marie Antoinette, but something from a different point that has yet to be done.

Would love to do a screenplay about MA and/or the Court at Versailles one day...Find some odd, quirky little story of an incident to turn into a film...

I am very much an avid writer, and I do plan to be an author in my adult life, but alas, I'm unsure if that would be practical as a day job. I think I'd have a day job and write at night until my writings alone becomes lucrative enough, if it ever does.

Cheers,
M. Georgiane

I love to write as well... About ten years ago I was published in a big coffee table book of poems. Two of my poems made it in the book, although I put five in to be to be in the running :( I suppose two is better then none. I have been thinking for a while to write a novel, but I have so many ideas I have no clue where to start, or have the time to really sit down and write. I have dozen of notebooks full of short stories, and I know one day I will finish one.

I have been writing a novel, and have started it just a few months ago. I hope to get it published, because I think it may do well.
It is about two English twin sisters who go to Versailles (as one is betrothed to a Viscomte), and they live their both loving and sorrowful lives there and into the revolution where one of their lives is taken by the guillotine.
Not only are they twins but they find out that they are bastard twins :o and must keep the discovery a secret.
I hope it will do well, because I am absolutely in love with it, and the characters because they are so diverse.
I would like to hear about yours, if you have the time.

Your book sounds really intresting, I would read it.... I love reading books of that peroid... Are you mixing fiction with non fiction? There is an author who is really good at mixing the two, I have read most of her books.. but she writes from the Tudor peroid, all the way from Edward IV and Elizabeth Woodville (which is my fave) You know the mother and father to the lost princes in the tower... And of course to Elizabeth I... She is the author Im most intersted in at this moment... Her name is Philippa Gregory. She can give you some idea as to how to mix fiction and non fiction together.. I hope your book turns out just the way you want it to.

I write, but I've never written about Marie Antoinette. My latest book is about Diane de Poitiers, entitled "A Portrait in Black and White." I have written it in the first person, in the form of her journal. In hindsight, it should have been classified as a novel since the words are mine, not Diane's, but it was published as a biography. Still it has done quite well.

Thanks! It can be found on Amazon. "A Portrait in Black and White...Diane de Poitiers in Her Own Words"
Well, my words, actually, supported by years of research.

I am interested shari in how the biography works, if it is in novelized form.

What sources did you use for your research? :book:
