I think the 1st time I became interested in Marie Antoinette was when I was 14...and than I started to read more about her after I saw the trailer for the new Marie Antoinette movie.

I'm 15 and became interested in her when I was 9, when I went to Versailles...

I'm fifteen and have loved France for all my life. As a little girl, I'd always loved to go to Paris and stand on the Eiffel Tower.
As I got older, I vaguely heard of a woman named Marie-something who had her head chopped off by the guillotine, but that was all I knew.
I fell in love with her last year when I saw the Sofia Coppola movie adaption of her life, and we've been inseperable ever since.

I'm a late starter too. I'm 20 and I became interested in Marie Antoinette after I saw Sofia Coppola's adaptation. After I saw the movie I became curious of her and researched and read books about her. Now i want to name my future children after her and her family

I'm 19, but I'll be 20 soon.

I have been interested in all kinds of past history since I was about 6 or so. I loved Marie Antoinette's period of time then, especially because I wanted all the beautiful gowns and everything seemed so fascinating. Of course I didn't know much about it then. Some years later when I was about 13 or so I learned more about the queen and her time period.

And now I've been wanting to learn more about her, so I came here!

Post Life is beautiful!
Wow, Marie Antoinette has a wide range of fans from different ages all of the world! It's too awesome ^^.
I'm 18 years old and have always been fascinated with Queens and Princesses, just like most little girls do =). I never grew out of it though, and here I am today! Still crazy, ahaha. I've been studying Marie Antoinette on my own for a few years now and it was my love for the renaissance era that brought me to her.
I plan on doing closer studies of the French Revolution, and studies of History (of course Medieval and Renaissance) at the University of Toronto. I'm doing Art History now, which is too wonderful!
I'm currently writing historical fiction based on Marie Antoinette, solely for fun though! ^^ And i've been going mad waiting for Susan Nagel's book about Marie Therese to hit hte shelves next March.
I was writing today, when I realized today was the day Marie Antoinette died 214 years ago. =( It is so wonderful that all of us can be here today discussing her life, two centuries after she lived. It's beautiful really ^^!
