Miss Coppola's movie was made for a very young audience, wasn't it ?

But I hated that crap and I have been interested in Marie Antoinette long before Coppola messed up history.

Although I was a wee little stubbing I must have been five when I saw a Royal Diarie's book by Kathryn Lasky and I was entranced by the cover.Queer isn't it? I was either nine or ten, when it really began to take off. At nine I was obsessed with Mozart :  . I was most likely ten. I was excited to see the Coppola movie. And I was a little dissappointed, but I'm still really glad that she made the attempt to convey that Marie Antoinette was thrown into the French Court and had to do what it took to adapt.

I know that I was about 10 when the Royal Diaries book came out, so you could not possibly have been 5!

Touche Monsieur Andre, Touche once again Monsieur. If it weren't for your wit, I wouldn't have to hone my remarks. No I'm joking, the remarks I make are rather queer anything but witty.

It's better to start loving Marie Antoinette later in life than never at all. :)

I'm 21 and got interested in Marie Antoinette when I was about 7 or 8. I remember it like it was yesterday!

When my father used to come back to Britain he'd take me to second-hand bookshops, as this was his obsession. This particular day he gave me a few pounds to buy any book I wanted, so I chose Hearsey's biography of MA, as the portrait of her on the front struck me as quite beautiful. Hearsey was quite critical of the Queen, and I felt myself getting more and more outraged by what I felt was unfair treatment. Ever since, I've been hooked!

Anyway.... Sorry to bore you all with this, my dears!!

yes, I too first became infatuated with MA in School-French History Class. Ever since then, I can't get her out of my head. I'm 24 now and I guess I must have been fifteen or so when I was introduced to her.

Oh. Yes you are ancient! At 21 years Mon Dieu you are old! Shouldn't you be collecting social security and using a cane to beat the whippers snappers away? You must have old creaky joints, and be terrified falling down stairs lest you break your hip! No. I'm joking.

Lol, i suppose im a late starter to this post.
I guess its a rarity, ive grown up with the french monarchy all my life.
The women in my family still wear the Pouf! (modernized a bit)
My mother moved us to America when i was 3 years old.
She too, like my grandmother are afraid of papparazzi.
Royalty monthly photogs are hounds apprently.
it seems to me, that no one ever ages in my family.
Well, im 15 now, and living in kentucky, because my parents
got a steal on the land that they constructed our house on.
im never really home at all, I travel everywhere, constantly.
in fact, im sitting in an airport!
i first became "Enveloped" when i read the royal diaries book in hmm, 6th grade i believe.
and have read Lady Frasers bio and Ms. Webers "queen of fashion"
:D
im a youngin!

Are you indeed royal? Oh Good Lord! Am I prying? Wouldn't it be worse in America? The paparazzi are like flies, too abundant, and too persistant. I go to a boarding school, I'm lucky to busty off of campus. I do travel, I like traveling, blasted school. Well, I can travel by becoming a mole person I guess digging my way from to my school to San Francisco. I hate airplanes, I am train person.

*Hellou Librorum at school*

" I have a test. I could go for a cheese steak!"
* digs giant hole, tunnels for fifty hours*

Hours later....

Phildelaphia....

" Woot. Cheesesteak here I come!"

" Oh wait, I missed my test. Yay!"
