If you are interested in the musics Marie Antoinette used to listen, then try a CD called "Marie Antoinette, songs for a queen" where you can find musics of Vivaldi, Mozart and of course Gluck ^^.
There is also an other CD about the musics of the Queen but I don't remember the title (I'll check out ^^) but I know that in it there are songs that Marie Antoinette did herself.

It's the CD "Marie-Antoinette ses musiques préférées - Plaisir d'amour". We can find there for example a music which she composed "C'est mon ami" : very nice

Is portrait charmant the second song on the list of songs of this japanese artist? Its simply marked antoinette like the first one, but its beautiful.

There are two songs by Antoinette on Mayuko Karasawa's CD. "C'est mon ami", for which Antoinette composed music on lyrics by Florian, and "Portrait Charmant", that she entirely wrote... and that is just wonderful ! So sweet and so poetical !

Madame,

Thank you for very much for the information. I wonder if one can download those two songs somewhere?

Post subject:  Portait charmant

I have listened to the Portait Charmant 45 second intro on the japanese site numerous times already. It is wonderful!

Would anyone have the full text in French of this beautiful song? Also does it figure on the CD "Marie Antoinette's favourite music"?

Thanks for your help!

I think "Portrait Charmant" is on Mayuko Karasawa's CD only.

Would you have the French lyrics anywhere by any chance? Do you know if the song is authenticated and how she got hold of the music and words?
