Marie Antoinette's wedding dress was used by the wealthy russian princesse Yussupov...Are there any pictures of the dress?

And are there any informations about the designer?

Thanks

Do you speak about her wedding dress when she married by procuration in Austria , or about the dress that she had during the wedding ceremony in France after she arrived to Versailles?

«Irina's wedding dress was magnificent; it was of white satin embroidered in silver, with a long train. Her face veil, which had belonged to Marie Antoinette, was held by a tiara of rock crystal and diamonds.», by Prince Yussupov.

Maybe about the wedding ceremony at Versailles...I don't know what dress did the russian princesse used, but I imagine  that it was the second one... :P

Yes, I think it was at her second ceremony at versailles that she used the veil that later came to Princess Irina.

Robert K. Massie notes Princess Irina wearing Marie-Antoinette's lace veil in his 1967 bestseller Nicolas and Alexandra.

Yes, it could be the princesse de Tarente because she went to Russia from the Revolution to the Restoration...

The tsar's neice, Princess Irina Alexandrovna, escaped with her life, but I have no idea if she took the veil with her, since she was the one who wore it at her wedding.
