well i have a project for school coming up soon... we are reading " a tale of two cities"- by charles dickens ....and we have to do a project on the book.. even though it has really nothing to do with marie my teacher approved my project, becuase it takes part during the french revolution. this project will include:
*how royality lived (marie & louis)
* how peasants lived
* what royality wore, ate, acted... so & so (marie & louis)
* what happened during the revolution

i would really appriciate it if you guys could give me some tips, info, also some uncommon facts for the project... i would really appriacte it!

I suggest you to look some of our topics and discussions since we have talked about so many things and you will find plenty of material :) . See also biographies of Marie Antoinette offered on this site, you will find many useful information. Actually I did one project about the French revolution some time ago and it was a hard work – 20 pages about the revolution only. Here is one text I found helpful, it offers different, cruel perspective of that event. ... icide.html

I would definitely recommend Simon Schama's excellent 'Citizens'. Biographies about Marie Antoinette do have information about the revolution but sometimes it is not always objective and is sympathetic to Antoinette and the royal cause (even though I can understand doing this!). 'Liberty: the lives and times of six women in revolutionary France' by Lucy Moore is an interesting book that looks at the subject through the eyes of French women.
