Post Book Chat
It was suggested to me by a friend who is not a member of our board (but may join if I twist her arm hard enough) that some of you may be interested in a monthly or quarterly Marie Antoinette book chat.

Here is how it would work - we would choose (via one of our forum polls I think) a text about Marie Antoinette or more broadly 18th century Europe to read during that month or quarter and discuss here on the boards. Naturally you can drop in and out of the conversation at any stage, but it provides for a more focussed discussion and examination of some of the Antoinette related literature out there. We may even set aside times for a IRC chat if we can find a time suits us all in our different locations around the world. Is there any interest in this? If so I'll set something up soon and we can choose our first book!

not so much that you *must* read the book CrY, you can always choose not to :) But generally speaking yes, we will choose a book each month to read or reread and discuss.

That looks like sufficient interest to me ... when I'm home from work (amazing how easy it is to get distracted from paper work by the internet!) I'll create a new topic and the first poll to choose our book.

Madame,
I think that that is a capital idea! I would very much like to participate, assuming my schedule would permit. Let's do it.

With enthusiasm,
Ray
