Post Duchess
Hi everyone,

Happy Christmas to you all.

I have a question - does the word "Duchess" have any unfortunate meanings / connotations ?

Particularly in North America.

Post Re: Duchess
Not that I'm aware of. It's just a title.

"Princess" can be a term of affection, or mean someone who thinks too highly of themself. But I haven't heard any connotations positive or negative with "Duchess".
