my husband approves of the name. all my clients at work and co workers love it. It's very 18th century, and they were in awe when I told them. 2 more weeks, i will find out whether its a boy or girl. and thanks everyone for your input. I feel so welcomed coming here.

I looked up all the meanings of the names. Louis means famous young warrior, Francis is from France or free, and Xavier is brightful. So I guess it translates to.... brightful free young warrior from France! That is a name for a true leader someday.
What would you name your kids, or what are your kids' names if you already have them? I love picking out names and hearing other peoples' decision on their choices of names.

Marie-Therese Charlotte de Bourbon
Louis-Xavier de Valois
Louis-Charles de Bourbon
Louis-Elijah de Conti
Louis-Elisha de Conde
Marie-Elise d'Orleans
Jean Henri Eudes Francois d'Orleans
Marie Cleopatra de Conde
Marie Anastasia de Valois
Marie Elizabeth de Conti
I also plan on re-instating the Houses of Valois, Conde, Orleans, Bourbon and Conti. So that each boy will have a new Maison Royale to start(:

First of all, congratulation, Sillage de la reine! Well, I guess by now you will be quite forward in your pregnancy :) I'm veru happy for you!

So, the names I would like to give my children:

For girls:
Maria (beautiful name, and Id like to give it in honour of the Virgin Mary)
Cristina (my grandmother's name and one I like very much)
Antonietta or Maria Antonietta (well, no explanation needed... )

For boys (it is more difficult, but still here are the ones I like most):
Gabriele
Francesco
Raffaele (a very beautiful meaning, "God heals")

I had changed my mind about the Xavier for my boys middle name, because my friend had told me a rival of mine from high school named one of her sons Xavier. So I'm considering, Alexandre or LeRoy. Alexandre sounds really good with the other names. It means Defender of Men.
Louis-Francis Alexandre.
