Precisely! If Marie Antoinette was intact I would approve however her decapitated I don't care for.

I don’t know how she would feel knowing that “bunch of crazy teens” are tattooing her in any form. :?
If you have the same initials then it is better. I like the idea of a rose, it is universal.

You have a really good point about what she'd think about people getting tattoo's or her or her monagram. I've thought about getting her cipher for a long time and it makes sense to me. Since choldhood I have been fascinated by her. I'm still weighing out the pro's and con's but I think I'm going to do it.

A rose tattoo is a good idea too. It's pretty cute.

a tat symbolizing her would be my next one. i, too, have thought of her cipher on my lower back but her cipher will be inside a floral and ribbon motif that represents the era of Louis XVI and Marie's reign. and outside of the motif on each side would be cherubs holding her rose, because we all know angels are with her in heaven. It represents me too though I don't have the same initials, but i have soooooo much in common with her it's quite eerie, and my name also means both angel and born of royalty!

Well I am not a crazy teen but to keep in the spirit I think a MA and LA connected with intertwined roses would be nice. My daughter I realized has the same initials as Louis Auguste so there would be meaning twice for me.

Louis-Auguste never had an LA monogram, it was always the double L.
