Post Hello
Hi everyone.

I've been interested in the French Revolution for many years. While I am sympathetic to the royal family and their fate, I am more interested in the revolutionaries, particularly the Montagnards. However, I've been looking around for some books and other info on Marie Antoinette and the royal family lately, and I figured you guys would be the best people to ask for recommendations. I won't ask it all here, cause then I won't have anything left to post in the other forums, but thanks in advance for any help with recommendations and reviews.

I'm also very interested in historical fashion, particularly of the late 18th century, which goes along very well with Marie Antoinette!

I speak English and French, so material in either language is fine.

Post Re: Hello
I've got a great book for you - Marie Therese, Child of Terror by Susan Nagle. It's a biography of Marie Antoinette's daughter, the only child to survive the Revolution. While it's not mainly about MA, it covers the Revolution and the family very well. It's also written more in a modern style, meaning it talks about the clothes and personal lives as much as the politics. You will enjoy it.
