What an ugly sight though! (from the outside)

Yes, I think it is by far the most elegant and luxurious way to travel. I am sorry that you feel they are so ugly from the outside, Delicate Fleur. I think that they are beautiful, but I think that blimps are ugly, being 'bulky' and 'clumsy looking' so I can sort of see where you are coming from. However, real airships are another matter entirely, at least in my opinion. Did you see the movie 'The Hindenburg' and how it glided through the sky? I think even their graceful movement through the sky is lovely and they are so streamlined. Anyway, thanks to all for responding. Have a Great Day! :)
Sincerely,
Ray

I hate flying on commerical airlines. Even in business class it is always an unpleasant chore, so I would love the idea of gently gliding across the Atlantic in a new, safer Hindenburg.

Me, too, Monsieur Christophe! Me, too! Yes, no matter what class of service you fly in, you are still subjected to that awful recycled air, smelly seats and carpeting, horrid rest rooms, increasingly restricted baggage allowances and, even worse, the degradation of airport protocol in general. Flying used to be nice and now it is like taking the bus. It's simply hideous. I can't wait to experience an airship like the Hindenburg! I am very proud of the great Zeppelin company. It takes one back to a more civilized age of travel.

Sincerely,
Ray

 I think the film was from George Lucas's studio. We all know that if George Lucas is involved so are aliens.
