I and several other members are experiencing problems with the Marie Antoinette Online website at the moment. I'm working as fast as I can to solve the problem but in the meantime if you hear from anyone who is struggling to access the site I believe if they enter the forum address http://forum.marie-antoinette.org into their address bar they should be able to make it here at least.

I hope I will find a quick solution to the problem with the other parts of the site, if you are having any problems please email me (editor@marie-antoinette.org) and let me know what's not working for you, it would be really helpful if you could tell me what your operating system is and which browser you are using.

and the following warning came up.... very alarming..!

Hi everyone. Yes I'm afraid to say the site was hacked a day or so ago and some nasty code inserted into the files. The rest of the site offline at the moment as I will do a complete overhall. I've repaired the forum files and taken the nasties off but it will still show as an "attack site" until google can verify that the bad stuff has been dealt with.

I'm in communication with my website host to find out how this happened, in the meantime I apologise and advise that if you were on the site at any time on the 11th or 12th of this month that you run your virus and malware checking software as a precaution to ensure the hackers didn't manage to infect you.

just going off topic for a moment, Im seeing the basic blue.. phpbb forum
right now, but Im sure a couple or three years ago I saw this forum in
a very different guise.
It was customed to Marie Antoinette... it was very styalized and distinct.
Am I wrong about this.. or is it some skin that I must discover
or have you since moved from one forum provider to the more basic PHPbb

Ok, an update for those of you who are making it through the attack site blocks!

The entire forum has been cleaned and the site submitted again to google. The main page is now accessible so we are making some progress!

Silverstar - yes the forum was once customised, but board updates and site changes meant that I reverted to the default and have not since found the time to customise again. Perhaps once all of this drama is sorted out I can turn my mind to tackling that problem.
