Okay I am nearly all set :). All I need now is a miniature lap dog and an assurance that three Princes of the Blood will come in in the morning to help me put my clothes and rouge on..

How about a baron...though I'm not too handy with the rouge bit.

The candles idea has been adopted, and I think that we will light up the Belvedère and Grotte like she did for her famous party in honour of the Swedish King or British amabassador (can't remember which)

Food will be laid out on tables along the gardens between the Trianon and the Pavillon Français. Dancing on the terrace and in the Pavillon Français. Any music suggestions?

So Locks of Louis you are in fact a lady, he says, at least he hopes so given the fact that Locks of Louis intends to wear a dress!

My cover is blown! I am indeed a lady, I picked this screen name because I like Louis XVI and I was very intrigued by the fact he enjoyed making locks and keys. An interesting hobby for a King to have!

Hmm...maybe we could do a tour of all the locks and keys Louis XVI made, that'd be interesting. Plus I need some new locks to secure something, so I could use two myself!

Post subject:  *off topic* Posting pictures

Ok everyone, my five minute, late-at-night-after-a-drink-or-two tutorial on posting pictures to the forum.

First you need to upload your picture to the web, for that you're going to need some webspace of your own or something like <a href="http://photobucket.com/">photobucket</a> or <a href="http://www.flickr.com">flickr</a>. Once your image is online copy the image URL from the address bar in your browser or from what photobucket or flickr gives you (there are other sites out there to use, pick one you like).

Then come back to the forum. You'll see a button up the top of the post window that says Img. If you click that you'll see some code appear that looks like this . If you've got more to write you can write as usual. When you submit your image should appear. iF you need more help, or access to webspace for your picture IM me and I'll help you out :)

Now, as we were, in preparations for a party I believe! :D[/img]

I should like to come to the party too, if I may. I am still at Moose's party but have been lurking behind the screens for some time - just waiting for the right moment to step forward and dazzle you all with some brilliant witticism.

I'd also like to ride to your party Baron, so I'll be wearing a rather natty hunting dress. Deep red with black trimming. Will there be somewhere to stable my horse or shall I just turn him out in the meadow?

You can tie him up next to mine....the setting is very pastoral at Trianon, fields all round with suitable fences.

Thanks Adrienne  I think I got the picture process, now I just have to resize what I have, we'll see how it goes!

As far as where to stay, I suppose I'll stay up all night. 8)
