What an interesting question. Several years ago at a very difficult time in my life I found that I was only drawn to violets, mauves, purples or black etc for my choice of colours for clothes. It was very pronounced, and not usual for me. I wasn`t attracted to other colours at all. I really disliked orange! (I was very interested to read in this thread that MA disliked orange)
Since that time as my life has moved on and recovered I have seen ( with hindsight - all with hindsight ) that I began firstly to like blues again, and then for the first time ever greens, and now yellows again - I guess orange could be next!
As is now very plain for me to see - I was, and am gradually rebalancing my life and my choice of colours are reflecting that. The art and science of colour therapy is absolutely amazing. Your colour choices mean more than you might think !!!!!!!! LOL
Much love to everyone
Viv :D

Hello, Viv ! Very interesting comment, dear ! :D Yes, I think colours can affect us mostly. For instance, I really love to see deep blue, but I can't wear it. I don't know why, but I can't. I even get back home and change.

For the moment, I am attracted to greens. Before, I did not like greens, execpt for turquoise. And, now, I feel like touching anis, light, kaki greens...

You didn't say anything about red, Viv. How do you feel about reds ? Deep reds fulfill me with some kind of deep and animal energy ! Love it ! :D

Dear Pim,

Yes, I do like deep red but I only have one item - a really comfy cardigan - in that colour I will be wearing it again this autumn.

Bon matin, tout le monde! And what a great question, and great comments from Viv!

My favorite colors are hunter green, a moss green (someone said sage green is pretty and I agree!) and royal/sapphire blue. Deep, intense, natural colors. :D

I love a pastel pink, a mauve. A light peach color. I like a deep yellow. I like dark blue, pastel blue, and royal blue (any blue) . Greens I like a spring green, emerald green (most greens).I like ivory, and beige. I like browns, a deep chocolate brown. At the moment I am fond of neutrals/earth tones. I like grey, white and black. I like red, although I try not to wear it because my face often matches my shirt.

I love powder blue the best, but pale pink, Ivory, Gold, pale green are all close behind. Alas I live in a arts and crafts home so I am not always able to decorate as I wish ,but I have my own arias that I do as I please. Bedroom and dressing room are mine!!

i love rouge, i have always been drawn to that color as a child that when i was in grade school, if a crayon box didn't have red in it, i didn't want to have anything to do with it. I also love baby blue, black, burgundy, pink, yellow and am beginning to love light shades of green.
