An awful article in the most recent Star magazine comparing Paris Hilton to Marie Antoinette.

Seriously?

Definitely some do not have shame of nothing, to want to compare the incomparable!
But don't worry, we have yourselves articles whose authors compare Marie-Antoinette to Lady Diana ...

It is claiming that Paris Hilton is the "Modern Day Marie Antoinette"

It misses just the grace, the nobility, dignity, the intelligence and the mind presence
Marie-Antoinette was a Queen of France, not an actress...

I'm sorry for the author of this article but he has a completely false image of Marie-Antoinette :D

It makes me ill when they compare Marie-Antoinette de Lorraine d'Autriche, Daughter of the Caesars, to the likes of Paris Hilton. I also think it is degrading to compare the Queen of France to Diana Spencer.

Also, in the article they do not use one real image of Marie. Only pictures from the movie. When I get a chance, I will scan it so you can all see. :x It seems as if they are basing their whole opinion solely on the film and not the facts.

Paris Hilton is not an Actress! She doesnt act!

And MA unlike Paris actually had talent in several areas like acting. I also don't agree with the Lady Di Comparisons either...

Well, with the Sophia Coppola's film, the people will think about Marie Antoinette as a Paris Hilton  , what awful film, I saw it yesterday with friends, I was ungry. How can a spoiled little film director shows Marie Antoinette in that way. And also the whole film was boring and very slow, the only thing was acceptable was the stage, Versalles. The wigs just hideous.

what can I say, just few things were "OK" in that movie. Just incredible, what can one person do with the history. No mention at all about Madame Campan, Marie Antoinette's last daughter. Not a Sign of what she suffered with the folk, not a sign of the great Character of the last queen of France. I'm still so upset about it.

I agree with everyone so far--Paris and La Reine are two totally different people!

ahh, I literally cringed when they showed that horrible imitation! They could have at least chosen someone who could paint well.
