Post Voice
Have you ever wondered how was the voice of Marie Antoinette ? Certainly, we will never get to know as technic "miracles" didn't existed those times . , but we can play in suppositions. :) Maybe there was something ever written in memoirs of people who were close to her.

No, we have nothing about Marie Antoinette's voice when she spoke. From her specifics fauts while writing, we can suppose she had a germanic accent, especially in the beginning, of course.

We know by Mme Vigée Lebrun that Marie Antoinette had a voice not very loud when she sang. Some one also said that it was soft, but I don't remember who. Campan, perhaps.

According to the fact that fashion was to childhood, Hortense Dufour, a French novelist, imagine that Marie Antoinette's voice was a light soprano... Who knows ? But this lady also imagines that the queen kissed Fersen in the library !
