Post The good things the Queen did for France/in general
can we start a list of the good things she did while serving as the Queen? (e. she adopted poor children.)
we only mostly know of the false things.

The list will be long

But to my mind, Marie-Antoinette brought to France :

- vestimentary and hairstyles new fashion,

- the discovery of the Gluck's talents in France,

- the style “Marie-Antoinette” for interior decoration and the pieces of furniture: mix Asian style, Egyptians, and of return to nature,

- renewal of the théatre : she supported much plays of théatre

And...

- a memory of grace, dignity, courage and imortels examplarity for us all

An air of refreshing youth and innocence, her children, and a commitment to her values and beliefs to the end in the face of the horrors of the Revolution. I also have grown fond of her use of Petit Trianon, her commitment to care for her children directly, her natural style there, new farming techniques etc...

As a Queen, she wasn't all migthy as the King. I'm not trying to say that Marie Antoinette was a saint, but she did what she could!
