Lamballe and Polignac shared the same birthday - 8 September 1749. So, Lamballe was 43 years old when she died in 1792 at the hands of the mob and Polignac 44 years in Vienna. They were a bit older than Antoinette, of course, and so became like her older sister, someone to replace her dear "Charlotte", Maria Carolina.
