Really? Where can the letters between M.A. and ferson be seen? I have not come across them. That would be something i would like to read.

in Marie Antoinette's voluminous correspondence, edited by Evelyn Lever, but in French (maybe translated I don't know)

I really don't think anyone can really understand Marie Antoinette fully without reading what she herself wrote, even if some early letters were clearly dictated to her by Vermont.

I can cite passages from those letters to Fersen. As you may know most of them were destroyed by a certain Baron de Klinkonstrow..the idiot....for the sake of propriety?

That's the whole question!
