|Post subject:||Prince de Conti|
From what I can figure out , this must be the Prince de Conti who met
Dr Curius in Switzerland and admired the good doctors wax effigies.
He persuaded Dr Curtius to up sticks and move to Paris

The visit must have been in 1765 as in that year the Doctor moved to Paris and
did a waxwork of the Kings mistress Mme du Barry.
A cast of that mould is still on display today.
He began to get an exhibition together and gave his first exhibition in 1770
In 1776 he moved the exhibition to the Palais Royal.
