I read books about Marie-Antoinette!
Not seriously, I like to look at DVD, to go on the net, cinema, and to paint the ceilings of my apartment :D

Interesting! Why the ceilings particularly? Are you a budding Michaelangelo?

Sorry Louis-Charles, I don't know what ripes are.''
But I'm happy for you that you've finished the ceilings. Such a chore. It makes your arms and neck ache.

For those who are interested, I am into dogs, walking and pottering around outside; taking photos - especially close-ups of insects. I'm also fascinated by Ancient Egypt. And I love reading 18th century female authors. I'm vegan and can get quite worked up about animal rights.

Leisure time...I used to know what that was, I think!! 4 children means that most of my time is spent playing children's games or watching my older daughters compete in hockey, soccer, softball and one performs in ballet and plays viola! Oh yes, and I am an expert taxi driver to all those things! Not all that bad, but it does get a bit boring sometimes, so when I have just a wee bit of time I do laundry and cooking for fun! I'm kidding. I do some grown up things like reading, hand quilting, chess, skiing, snowshoeing, kayaking, hiking, painting, drawing, attend concerts, ballet and art shows. My most favorite thing to do lately, since it is spring and the air is that cold damp, is meet a friend at our local tea house and drink some excellent tea and smell the incense and have good conversation! :D

I use the internet a lot and I like to read. As I live in the Lake DIstrict I like to get out and do a bit of walking when the weather is fine and I have transport! (these two things do not happen together very often ;)).

I love to read, write, play the piano and dance.... someone above me said that they were fascinated by ancient egypt, I am too :P in fact, I am currently learning to read hieroglyphs, i'm thinking about becoming an egyptologist as a career... I wish I could be better at singing but i'm not awful so i count that as a blessing. Drawing is a closet hobby of mine, i would like to think that i'm good at it but i don't do it that often. my favorite tv show is probably spongebob (i don't care how immature that sounds!) but i also love what not to wear on TLC.

I enjoy horse riding twice a week – mostly arena work, but the occasional out ride. Painting and watching series.
