I have always wanted to read this, but it is out of print, so alas....

You should be able to find this book in the library. You've got a pretty good library system!

I am struck by the fact that there are so many of us here who became interested in Marie Antoinette because we read The Queen's Confession as kids. It's a pity it's out of print, but you can get a second hand copy from Amazon quite cheaply.

 Re: The Queen's Confession
I recently received Flaunting, Extravagant Queen on inter-library loan - it is a re-print by Arrow Books and has a nice shiny new cover. I will try to find The Queen's Confession considering so many of us have enjoyed the book!
