 Question.
Indeed, I must ask:
What color was Louis XVI's hair? I could imagine that it was dark, but I have never once heard an answer!

Actually very good question, Madame Vigée-Le Brun.
Sorry to say, but I don't know. I guess it is dark as you thought too, but I'm not totally sure! He always wears wig in the portraits so it's hard to see

Yes, and he had the wrong height, too. Louis was quite tall, taller than his wife. Please do not go by the movie for an accurate portrayal of anyone.

Yes, I remember Louis XVI was taller than Marie Antoinette.
My idea of 'his brown hair' didn't come from the movie

 Re: Question.
However it may have been the high coiffs that lead you to believe she was taller than him!

 Re: Question.
Oh yes, and I think they Shouldve reasearched more, in a Historical Point of View, everyone was WAYYYY off. Especially Since Provence was Leetle bitty. when he shouldve been HUGE!
but i've Read he Had light blond hair with hints of Brown?

 Re: Question.
Yes that is true, they should have depicted him a bit more chubby.

 Re: Question.
No, I think he played Louis XVI perfectly since he was so awkward. I am attracted to Jason, because he is kind of nerdy, I like quirky people what can I say!?!

 Re: Question.
I thought he was awkward 'tis all. I thought they portrayed him as an awkward, nerd, not a loser necessarily.
