 What a Disgrace
Earlier today, I googled Marie Antoinette's name to see what it came up with. Imagine my disgust when I came across our Queen's story being defiled by mindless idiots!

Scroll to the comment made by "Alyssa Rodriguez". She is the one who writes in capital letters, with no sense of either spelling or grammar.
I am absolutely sickened by this, but I soon registered and angrily set her straight!

Where did she get that Louis XVI had lovers and kept them in the palace? Sounds like she was getting him mixed up with one of the Russian Tsars (can't remember his name right now) that did that.

I think you mean Peter the Great, jadean. Madame Amelia, that is so wonderful that you registered just to respond to her! I hope she read your post.

Maybe she had Louis XVI confused with Louis XV?

You are probably right, I never thought about Louis XV, the Russian Tsar came to mind first.
Good for you Madame Amelia for posting there.

I'm surprised you could muster reading through those horrid posts. Just by looking at it, I could tell that forum is conducted very poorly. Your etiquette, grammar, and knowledge seem out of place there.

 Re: What a Disgrace
Perhaps she was referring to Catherine the Great. She had multiple lovers and or had one at a time and lavished all sorts of things on him. And Catherine the Great liked building towns. I watched this on the history channel. My memory may not be the best source. :/

 Re: What a Disgrace
It was Peter the Great who liked building, he built St. Petersburg.

 Re: What a Disgrace
I think both of them liked to build Monsieur. Peter was known for building St. Petersburg (obviously) however, Catherine liked to build towns. She described it as being an addiction.

Well done Madame Amelia............! When it comes to History, sites like this usually have not done their homework and love to scythe using sensationalism and the lowest common denominator. Thank you again, Loving Regards,
