It's probably the angle, but you can see that the crown is not pointed like a witches hat.

Yes, they are more pointy, but depends in the witch or wizard!!! We all remember the Typical witch hat`s from childhood. All in all they had amazing creations in those days...Beats what we have now... Be nice if Men wore more stuff like the Dandy`s of the time..but I don`t think modern man quite has the demeanor..??
