Would this be the correct analogy? It's awful.

Trianon is the statue made with plaster, Marie Antoinette is the artist she has sculpted it when the statue dries there is an imprint of her finger. That imprint remains forever because she was there and created it.

Or....
A virus.

The imprint is a virus. The imprintee ( or the memory holder, what ever you would like to call it). The virus has RNA or DNA. The virus mutlitplies, which is a copy but a genuine copy of the virus. DNA viruses attack living cells and kill them it takes a certain amount of cells that are dead when the body is affected, if there are enough living cells the body remains unaffected from the death of the cells not the virus. Either way the body ( imprintee) is affected by the virus.

Sorry if these analogies are awful. I am sure I'll understand.

Oh my...I am dying to visit Le Petit Trianon....and I'm also hoping that...I'll be able to sense Marie Antoine's presence....it might be scary....but I sure would love it. Being with her in the same place....its all I can ask for, really...

So am I. Maybe I will, maybe I won't. I am concerned is that I will try to feel it an then be disappointed when I leave.

Don´t be disappointed! Preparation is everything. If you study Marie-Antoinette carefully maybe you can feel her imprint. It´s quite possible that your age (16) is to your advantage as with Comte de Provence (15) who I believe felt something when he was there at Le Petit Trianon. When you are younger and your brain has not yet been messed up with marriage, children, work, grief (I hope not) then I think a human being is more perceptive and sensitive to phenomenons. If Marie-Antoinette is there and if she wants you to be aware of her presence she will probably try to "go" right through you. If this happens you will feel cold for maybe 1-2 seconds. Don´t be scared. It´s only natural that she would try to contact someone like you because you are not hostile to her. We mustn´t forget that she died in grief. Her soul can´t find peace I think. When you visit Le Petit Trianon try in advance to find out what time during the year and day there is the least tourists. The fewer the better. If there is lots of other tourists they could distract you. Good luck!

I just afraid I'll think" oh, I'm cold." rather than "It's Marie Antoinette!"

I'm always so cold.
My body temperature is always lower than normal.
So, when I felt it, I knew.

I'm warm very often.

So is my mom.

My dad is warm when I get cold I hug him. And the best part is when he wears cashmere sweaters which are warm and fuzzy.

And I say

"You're warm."

Speaking of warm, when I walked into the grand salle a manger, it was warm!

Years ago,I too saw the old movie about the (was it two English?) ladies who visited Versailles and were transported back in time. I only caught a few minutes of it, but would love to see it again in its entirety. I think in the movie that they (or one of them) saw the gardens exactly as they would have been laid out at the time Marie would have been there. It was intriguing, to say the least. Does anyone know the name of the film?
