Re: Age of the fans of Marie Antoinette I am 16 and Absoluely love Marie Antoinette. She is about the only person in History that I can sit and research. I wrote a 6 page paper on her in 7th grade and my teacher said it was the best paper shes seen in the last 3 years! The only person who will sit and talk to me about her is Madame Large my French teacher and I know more than her!

I've been fascinated with this family since I was young and saw a tv show in which they were removing the Dauphin from MA in the tower. Then at about age 12 I began reading, visited France, and I'm still reading. Love, love history.

Re: Age of the fans of Marie Antoinette I am 43,tough for me to say sometimes.I crave history and feel we can draw many paralels between the past and now.Wall street this past week being one.Someone trying to make a fortune of the betrayel of another.( The diamond necklace affair vs the morgage crisis)We will have our own people to blame, innocent people will suffer,a dynasty will fall. All will learn...well not all. Fashion is another paralel,how we look at the presidential candadates and their spouses and run right out to look like them(Palins glasses and the pouf)..Anyways love this site and all who post here and hopefully I can contribute.
