Re: A Marie Antoinette Ball! I helped one of my friends make this dress for a party she was attending. As soon as we know the date and place I need to start on a Gown. This last one took me 170 hours to complete . But alas i loved every moment!

Re: A Marie Antoinette Ball! Your dress is just beautiful--what talent you have. I would love to wear something beautiful like that, fan, hair, white powder rouge. That would definitely put you in character. Movies with beautiful costumes are: Vatel, Valmont, Ridicule, Dangerous Liasions--these will put you in the mood.

Re: A Marie Antoinette Ball! The Affair of the Necklace was atrocious all the way around. I think the best movie for costumes is Amadeus. But I've said that before, haven't I? I just love the costumes in that movie.
