Does anyone know what became of marie Antoinette's Hairdresser Leonard? Is there a portrait of him? I would love to know more about this fascinating man.

I have read this, it was not as interesting as I thought it would be and I still don't know what happened to him after the revolution.

Well, it does mention in the introduction that he spent time in Italy and Germany and returned to France during the first Bourbon restoration in 1814 and died in Paris on the 24th March 1820. What more information do you need?

If we take Coppola's Marie Antoinette as a basic, he was surely a gay. But in life..., I don't know... by the way, how about gay in the XVIIIth century? :)
