These 18th cent prints are ravishing Varija and deserve

Etched onto copper plate these drawings and illustrations
must have been churned out by the thousand on presses
all over Paris and France.
It was mass art production and put high , sophisticated art
into the hands of everyman.
You can imagine how these prints must have been prized and
avidly collected back then in the 18th century... just as they still
are today.
