I have been wondering about this Nagel book and whether I should buy it or not - it seems to have mixed reviews. You guys mean to say there's no references in this book? That would be pretty atrocious.

Although Nagel provides no references for some of her claims - the book itself does have references.

Indeed: the referencing is done much like most popularisations, with chapter/section references. There are specific references, and broader ones, but as Lilly said, some of her claims are unfounded (in the sense they aren't cited). Worth reading, though, I suppose.
