Post Greetings. I am honoured to be here on this site.
Dear Adrienne & list members,
My name is Morgan Murchison & I am deeply & passionately interested in the 18th century & Royalty from that time..I am English but I live in Hungary & wish I could find some serious 18th century groups here in Hungary.I love the fashion of the 1700s & I like horse riding, harpsichord, reading 18th century literature,{Henry Fielding},18th century dancing, seeing films about the 1700s & also Royalty.I admire Queen Marie Antoinette & the Princess de Lamballe for their courage & devotion. Also I have great support for the Bavarian Royal house of Wittelsbach & Liechtenstein. My other interests are wildlife, animal welfare.I am so glad to have found this forum.

Ah, welcome to the forum! I'm sure you'll find a lot here to interest you, particularly [and obviously, I suppose] with your confessed fascination with Marie Antoinette. There is indeed quite a lot to admire in her. :)

Hi and welcome to the forum. :)

One of the things I admire most about Marie Antoinette is her love of horse riding. I've often wondered, but never found out, who taught her to ride and to what level: was she able to execute lateral movements and some of the trickier classical movements? I suspect possibly yes because of her determination to ride astride??
Does anyone know???
