Post MA's China Pattern?
I live in a big city and have seen several china shops who claim to have a pattern of china used by Marie and Louis- all are very differing in styles and none seem quite right....
googling to find the actual pattern(s) they may have used brings a barage of finds that end no where...
does anyone know who made or supplied Versailles with china- if it is known what pattern the royal family may have used... better yet any pics of said patterns?

I found and purchased the Wedgewood Queensware Plain of Englands Queen Charlotte and love to bring in this one too

Check Sevres - there is plenty of it at Versailles.
Dresden and Meissen were also producing fine wares at the time.

Wow, that china is really something! Is it authentic or a reproduction? (They are fabulous nonetheless), i.e how old are they?

I don't think that china is period, although it is lovely.

The link below is from the Base Joconde and it's in French. It's a list of some artifacts from the 18th century.

if you want an identical copy of a service used by MA at Trianon then you should go on the "Bernadeau" website and find the "perles and barbeaux" collection. I have one of the plates, but they are very expensive!

SRA Baron De Batz,

I sincerely thank you for writing about "perles and barbeaux" collection" its gorgeous
I am finding very very little of it even on line...
I am so thrilled to connect to anything to do with SRA Louis and Marie that your information has thrilled me senseless
I would love to see the piece you have- or hear anything it may have confessed about its travels to you
